We handle placement for you. Greenhead box traps work best in open, sunny areas with good airflow — typically away from where you spend the most time. When we deliver, we'll scout the optimal spot based on wind direction, sun exposure, and proximity.

No. Greenhead traps are 100% chemical-free. They work entirely by mimicking a large dark target that greenhead flies are naturally drawn to — no bait, no scent, no pesticides. 

We deliver in mid-to-late June, just before greenhead season ramps up, and pick up in early-to-mid August once activity has tailed off. You don't need to be home for delivery or pickup — we coordinate everything in advance.

We currently service the North Shore of Massachusetts and surrounding areas in Essex County. If you're outside that area, submit an inquiry anyway — we may still be able to help or expand into your area.

No trap can eliminate greenheads entirely — they fly in from the marsh continuously throughout the season. What our traps do is significantly reduce the local population on your property, making your yard, deck, or patio noticeably more usable during peak weeks.

Great question, and a common worry — but no. Greenheads are already in your area because of the nearby marsh. The trap simply intercepts the flies that are already coming to your property and removes them from the population.
